MAUKU ATHLETIC CLUB. The liftipth annual meeting of the Mauku Athletic Club wis held in the l'atumahoe War Memorial Hall 011 Thursday evening, when the accounts showed a credit of £47 iy/. Officers elected for the coming year:— Patron, Mr. .1. N. Massey, M.l\ ; president, Mr. \V. Sommerville: vice-presidents, .Messrs. M. Irwin, I£. S. Brown and F. l'erkins: Trustees, Messrs. It. S. Brown and It. K. Sleinbery ; auilltor, Mr. IS. S. Brown; delegates to Northern Athletic Union, Messrs \\\ K. Johns and \V. Finlay; liorso judge, Mr. C. llensen : handicappers, Messrs. F. T- McAneny (official) and T. Short (local): starter. Mr. W. Finlay; assistant starter and call steward; Mr. 11. Lowry; field events judges, Messrs. .T. Malcolmson, IT. Carter and W. Duffus; secretary and treasurer. Mr. A. T.. Adams; executive committee, Messrs. W. Sommerville, W. E. Johns, W. Finlay, I. Short, M. Irwin, <!. McAlpine. F. Hirstich, C. Fulton, F. Madgwick, It. K. Memliery, ,T. Franklin, F. Needham, .T. Ilenry, J. Furmage and J'. Gillard. Owing to the fact that this is the club's jubilee year, a special suli-cornmittee comprising ' Messrs. Sommerville, Henry and Johns was appointed to prepare a special jubilee programme. The annual sports will bo held on January -9.
