RICHARDS STILL WINNING. ONLY TWENTY BEHIND RECORD. PUG BY, October 12. The champion English jockey Gordon Richards rode live successive winners at the Newmarket race meeting to-day. His •total for the season now is only 20 behind Fred Archer's record of 241 i. Five of the six starters in the historic four miles' race, for the Newmarket Town Plate were ridden by women. The winner, Journey's End, was ridden by Miss Gladys Waldron.
