AUCKLAND'S DAIRY OUTPUT.
RETURNS FOR AUGUST. NEW SEASON STARTS WELL. The new dairying season for Auckland province has opened remarkably well, and many herds came into profit earlier, thanks to ideal climatic conditions. In .July there was an increase of 46 per cent, compared with that of July 1932. and this rate of increase was almost maintained during August. The butter received into grading stores in August totalled 54,752cwt and cheese 6405ewt. Reduced to a butterfat basis, the output of the province for August was 8,975,0001b. compared with 6.323,0001b in August, 1932, an increase of 2,652,000, or almost 42 per cent. The output in August, 1031, was 5,096,0001b, and in August, 4,766,0001b.
