VISIT OF CRAWFORD. EXHIBITION GAME WITH McGRATH. The Australian Davis Cup players. J. B. Crawford and Vivian McGrath, returning home from TT.S.A'., will be in Auckland oil Friday, and tliat afternoon will 'play a doubles match at the Stanley Street court. Crawford, holder of the Australian, French, and English singles championships, will not play a singles match here, acting under medical advice, but he will appear wirli McGrath in a doubles match against • E. Malfroy. of Wellington, and N. G. Sturt, of Auckland. A singles match between two local players will be played. This will be MeGrath's first appearance in Auckland, and so much has been written of this young player's brilliance and his unorthodox double-handed backhand stroke, that as much interest will centre in him as In the Wimbledon champion.
