AFFRAY AFTER DANCE
INJURED MAN IN HOSPITAL
DISPUTE OVER YOUNG WOMAN (By Telegraph.—rross Association.) BLENHEIM; this day. As a sequel to a midnight affray after a dance on Saturday, a, showman named Clement Herbert Dowues, aged 20, appeared in the Police Court to-day charged with causing- actual bodily harm to Lindsay Cordon Glass. Ho was remanded for a. week. The police stated that Glass, who was struck with a bottle, waa in hospital with scalp wounds, but his condition was not serious. The dispute arose over seeing a young woman home, and the men came to blows.
