No. 13 I.evel.—.Martha lode (south section) : East drive at 3-101't in No. 4 shaft north crosscut. The crosscut at the Soft mark was driven south iUft where country is showing in the face oL' the crosscut. Northward a total of ~ lit was driven, the north wall being seen here. Assay value in the crosscut ranged from 1/u to 10/0 pei ton. Driving east is resumed, and is belli;; carried along close to the north wall. No. 3- I.evel.—Koyai load west of No. A shaft south-east crosscut : i.izanl rise connected to tin? winze at I'JCt lip, and driving was tlicn resumed westward; average assay value from Sift to 1-lSt't is -!)/~ per ton The full width of quart/, is from -1 ft to lilt No. 11 (70ft) Hub-level.—Empire lode Driving was continued eastward from Cot west: crosscut, and carried to I-ISft. Martha lode: The west drivt from No. 2 shaft north-west crosscut was continued to !)oft where the Martha lodi was met, which, at close of period had beer penetrated 14ft. Average assay value ovei this width is 11/10 per ton. No. 4 Level.—North branch of Marthr lode in Cordon north-west crosscut : Tin west drive was advanced to 11 lill in gooi finality ore about 3ft wide. In the easteri: end the drive is out 108 ft. Work at Nos. 4. 3 and 2 levels has beer suspended since July 20 as a result of the cage accident at No. 2 shaft on that date Operations cannot lie resumed until repair: to the bead gear and shaf* timbers ar< completed. JUNCTION AREA. Junction No. to Level.—Empire lode. No 9 pass block : Shrinkage stoyiug is iu pro gross at 34ft.
