PRESBYTERIAN BIBLE CLASS.

•Tlie closing function of tlie Presbyterian Bible Class Hairier Club was held on Saturday evening at St. David's, Khyber Pass, when the first annual banquet took place. The Rev. W. Bower Black presided over a gathering of sixty. Items were given by Miss J. Gordon and Mr. P. Prescott, while the president gave an illustrated lecture on alpining in New Zealand. The toast of the Bible class movement was proposed by the Union ex-">resid"nt. Kev. J. A. Thomson, and responded to by Mr. X; P. Angus, Aucklaiiu ui&uiei. cnairman. Ine club captain, Mr. J. I. B. Neil, proposed the health of the season's hosts and hostesses, the toast being replied to by Mr. T. Clifton Webb, ill'. L. C. Rice proposed the toast to associate clubs, Mr. Alwyn Moon (Technical) responding, while Mr. A. E. Odlin, vice-president, proposed the future success of the club, the Kev. W. Bower Black replying. Trophies won during the season were presented as follows:—Club championship, .T. I. B. Neil; sealed Jiantlfeap, W. H. Kedgley; most consistent runner, J. R. Boyd;- most improved runner, J. E. Kdwards; attendance medals, L. C. Rice, J. R. Boyd, J. I. B. Neil.
