PSYCHOLOGY LECTURES. The New Zealand lecturer of psychology, Miss C. E. Bates, last evening delivered her third lecture in the Unity Hall, speaking on ''The Faith that Brings Victory.' "A limited conception of life," said Miss Bates, "is that which makes for small achievement, but a widening of consciousness to greater progress and higher attainment is the first step toward increased achievement. • So often people are held back by thinking that their place iu life from birth to the grave has been preordained by fate. A new slogan we would cry, 'Build faith in better and brighter conditions for the future,' through greater personal power, enlarged consciousness and expectation." The lectures will continue this evening and to-morrow in the Unity Hall. "THE MASQUERADER."
