TAURANGA NOTES.

I Mrs. Allan Smith is spending a holiday in Wellington. Mrs. Keith Page has returned from a visit to Auckland. Miss Olive Armitage entertained a number of friends, at bridge on Wednesday evening. The hostess wore grey georgette and amongst the guests were: Mcsdames Ross-Smith, C. Steedman, Keith Page, Misses Clarice Mountjoy, Dorothy Armitage, Marjory Sanders, Alison Bradmore.' A bridge evening was given by Mrs, C. Steedman on Thursday for Mrs. Dinsdale, Te Kuiti. The hostess wore black georgette and the guest of honour floral crepe de chine. The guests were: Mesdames D. Hanna, KossSmith, Gilmore Podgers, L. Smith, O. Sanders, D. McShane, Misses Lyn Snodgrass, Connie Humphreys, Olivo Armitage, A. Bradsliore, Dorothy Armitage.
