Reported Finds in S. .American State. - 800.000-DOLLAR STONE. (Received 12 noon.) NEW YORK, September 22. . The "New York Times" correspondent at Rio de Janiero says that a prospector in the upper waters of the Sao•bento River, in the State of Minas Geraes, to-day reported finding a diamond of 540 grammes, over 2000 carats, appraised at 800,000 dollars. It is believed to be the second largest recorded. Six other large stones, one of 400 carats, were also found. The total value of jthe gems is 1,000,000 dollars.
