NEW ZEALAND LEGION.
The first of a series of meetings.of the New Zealand Legion to be called in the Eden electorate was held last evening in St. Barnabas' Parish Hall. There was a good attendance of residents, and the meeting was addressed by Messrs. H. H. Corbin and A. K. Turner on the aims of the legion. They answered a number of questions on the Governmental reform policy of the legion. It was resolved to set up a sub-centre of the legion, and a provisional committee was elected to call further meetings.
