FINE SPELL OONTINtJBS. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. The pressure ie still high over the New Zealand area, although the anti-cyclone is srraduaiiy moving away eastward, ine first of a series of westerly depressions is advancing across the South Tasman Sea towards the South Island. The forecast is for variable winds, but li«ht easterlies prevailing, later backing to northerly and freshening, with the weather fine and mild, eeas smooth to moderate.
