"A LOSING FIGHT."

KAH.WAY3CEN AND BATES. A request was received by the Otahuhu Borough Council last night from the railway housing scheme committee for a reduction in rates. The committee said the men were doing their beet to keep up their payments, but owing to wages, "cuts" and other it was a losing fight. The Mayor, Mr. H. T.
