CHARGE AGAINST CARTER.
AIXEGATION BY POLICE.
Arrested yesterday afternoon, George Sydney Farrow, aged 33, carter, appeared in the Police Court this morning, charged with stealing 8/9 in money and goods worth 1/3, on July 18. In asking for a remand until September 8, Detective-Sergeant O'Sullivan said that further charges might be brought. "We allege that this man has been ringing the changes," added Mr. O'Sullivan. Farrow was remanded until September 8 on baii of £25.
