COLT INJURED.
Peter's Pride Falls. The two-year-old colt Peter's Pride, by Chief Ruler from Cymene, a half-brother to Cylinder, met with an accident at Takanini yesterday. While running in a paddock he apparently became frightened, and fell on the .root of a tree, receiving a cut on his neck which required-live stitches. Though not considered very serious," the injury will keep him away from the track for a while. Peter's Pride was one of- the most forward youngsters at Takanini. '
