DEBATING CONTEST.
"That Oliver Cromwell's character is worthy of admiration" was successfully debated b.v the Nomads against the Y.M.C.A. last evening at the Y.M C A The debate carried the Athenaeum Cup contest a stage further. The winning team comprised the Revs. M. G. Sullivan, Mr H. G. Taylor and Mr. E. H. Blow. The Y.M.C.A. was represented by Messrs. R. W. Miller, R. L. Barnfather and E W \ Drake. The judge, Mr. H. W. Cocker! awarded Nomads 268 points to 266.
