BUILDINGS WITHOUT PERMITS.
TINES AT FAPAKURA. Tho Manukau County Council, in the Papakura Court yesterday, prosecuted a resident of Clevedon, V. 11. Sheppard, for failing to take out a permit for the erection of a new dwelling. He was fined 20/ aud costs 10/ on the first count, and convicted and ordered to pay 10/ costs on the eecond. Frederick Murray, inspector, etatcd he had noticed the new dwelling in course of erection, and informed .Sheppard of the necessity of taking out a permit. He was warned a eecond time, and the county council then instructed the inspector to take action. Patrick Emmet Pope, of Takanini, was fined 20/ and costs 10/ for failing to take out a permit for the erection of a two-roomed dwelling. A. E. Con way, a property owner of the Manukau County, was fined £5 and costs 10/ for failing to clear noxioue weeds after having been given notice.
