Charteris, professor of international law at the University of . Sydney, who passed through Auckland by the Monowai today. Its sittings, he said, were begun on August 17. '"The society has received gratifying support both in Xew Zealand and Australia," he added, "where the judges and the leaders of the legal profession are among its members.
