HENDERSON RATES.

I am a Henderson ratepayer, and a substantial one, but I also received no notice of the recent meeting. I ask the Henderson Town Board "what steps have been taken with those in default. A large n umber of people are using the depression to evade their just responsibilities, and I feel certain quite a number are able, and would pay if pressure were brought to' bear on them. Do they simply say, 'T am unable to pay," and there the matter ends? If so it appears a nice look-out for those with more dignity, and would quite account for the hopeless position Henderson is in to-day. ANOTHER HENDERSON RATEPAYER.
