AUCKLAND SHOW PIGS.

Advice has been received from London ,that the 19 show pigs which were shipped on account of the Auckland Agricultural and Pastoral Association by the s.s. Port Hardy on March 31, were made the subject of a very excellent display on Smithfield market. Awards made were as follows: —First, Amburys, Ltd., 85 per cent marks (unplaced at Auckland): second, L. P. Barry, 80 per cent marks (second at Auckland); third, R. Dawson, 77 per cent marks (third at Auckland); fourth, Bolton and Co., 72 per cent'marks (unplaced at Auck- ' land).
