HUDDART-PARKER, LTD. UNCHANGED DIVIDEND. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Thursday. The directors of Huddart-Parker, Ltd., Melbourne, have advised the Stock Exchange Association that interim dividends of 3 per cent on preference shares and Ilh1 l h per cent on ordinary shares, have been declared for the half-year ended June .'SO. Payment will be made on September 14. The dividends are at the same rate as in the previous year. WINCHCOMBE, CARSON, LTD. IMPROVED TRADING RESULT. SYDNEY, August 17. The accounts of Winchcombe, Carson, Limited, wool-selling brokers and produce agency company, Sydney, for the year ended June- 30,- show a net profit of £41,061, an increase of £1854 over the previous year. MASON, STRUTHERS, LTD. PROFITS JUSTIFY DIVIDEND. Directors of Maeon, Struthers, Ltd., Christchurch, report that for the twelve months ending June 30, 1933, there was a balance to credit of profit and loss account of £3035 6/11. "As forecast in the last report" (they state) "the benefit from the reduction of overhead expenses has been realised, with the result that instead of last year's loss of £6443 the accounts disclose a profit of £2657 3/6 for this year, "Shareholders will also be pleased tc sec, under the present restricted trade conditions, a further reduction in the value of stocks and book debts, and to note that on balance date, except for the mortgage of £17,500 on the retail building, the company was clear of all debts except £3559 13/7 for trade accounts since paid, and which were more than equalled by the bank credit of £6660 1/9. "In view of the improved position ol the company the directors recommend that a dividend be paid at the rate of 2% pet cent per annum on the paid-up capital.* WELLINGTON WOOLLEN CO. DIVIDEND 5 PER CENT. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. At the annual meeting of the Wellington Woollen Manufacturing Company held to-day the recommendation of the payment of a dividend of 5 per cent was agreed to. Messrs. Alfred Smith and A. E. Mabin were re-elected directors, and Messrs Kember and Son and S. W.. Hunt were reappointed auditors.
