DIXIELAND.
The appearance of Miss Joyce Wright, "The Arts Queen" at Dixieland on Saturday night was a signal for a spontaneous outburst of applause from the many patrons of the cabaret. Miss Wright appeared in the Scimitar dance, and in response to enthusiastic encores she repeated this spectacular number. Tho Dixieland Band maintained its reputation with the excellent music it rendered. Among those present were:— Miss Joyce Wright (Arts Queen), ivory taffeta; Mrs. Houghton, wine satin beaute; Mrs. Tuck, rose angel skin; Mrs. Green, pastel pink satin; Mrs. C. Pollock, gold lace; Mrs. R. Mansfield, ivory satin; Mrs. G. D. Bradley, cameo pink-angel skin; Mrs. Kronfeld, black georgette; Miss Lorna Phillips, black chiffon velvet; Miss Hart, Burgundy satin; Miss E. Wright, leaf green satin; Miss Mona McElroy, ivory satin; Miss Roberts, pink floral georgette; Miss K. Lee, blue floral organdie; Miss Simpson, white georgette; Miss G. Simpson, flame ring velvet.
