LIGHT WESTERLIES.
FAIR WEATHER LIKELY. (By Telegraph.—l'ress Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. A slight anti-cyclono is passing over the northern extremity of New Zealand, while a scries of slight westerly depressions is passing in the south. The forecast is for light south-west to west winds, with the weather fair to cloudy and mild, but some isolated showers arc likely; seas smooth, but rising somewhat on the west coast.
