LEAGUE FOOTBALL.
JUNIOR MANAGEMENT AFFAIRS. The junior management committee of the Auckland Rugby. League met last evening, Mr. A. Wilkie presiding. The Papakura Club drew attention to tbo lateness of starting early matches by visiting teams, and 'was assured that attention would be given the matter in future. A protest by Otaliuhu over a Manukau third grade player alleged to be overweight and a senior, "was held over for a week. Glenora objected to the referee's rulings in the third open match against JL'onsonby. The matter was referred to the Referees' Association. Mr. G. Baker took exception to the decision of the management to express its displeasure with Point Chevalier Club in connection with an insult from a player and left the meeting. Two third grade players—one cach from Mount Albert and Mangere—were cautioned. and a Papakura fifth grade player was suspended for two plaj'ing Saturdays for striking an opponent. Regrades.—J. M. McNamara, Northcotc. from senior to third intermediate; A. Sands, Point Chevalier fifths to sixths. Transfers Granted.—J. Zaninvich, O. Olsen, L. Strong, C. Buchan, G. Cunningham and H. Harris, all of City Hovers fourths to Manukau Hovers; P. McDonald, City Hovers fifths to Richmond sevenths; I). C. Bennett. Point Chevalier sixtlis to Richmond .sixths; and W. Ward, Newton sevenths to Richmond sevenths.
