UNIVERSITY DANCE.

The annual (lance of the commerce students of tlie Auckland. University took place 011 Saturday evening in the College Hall. The chaperones were:— Mrs'. M. R. O'Shea, in bottle grefen nin,on; Mrs. H. Belshavty palma violet satin faille; Mrs. L. W. Holt, cream souple satin; Miss E. M. Bourne, black crushed crepe. The ladies' committee comprised Mies Vaughan Gunthorpe, who wore a gown of deep pink lace and netredged bolero, and Miss 'Marjories Gray, in gold and apricot shot taffeta.
