TOLL OF DEATH.
Total of 25 R.A.F. Fatalities in Three Days. MISHAPS TO 'PLANES. (Received 2 p.m.) LONDON, May 19. A total of 25 deaths lias occurred in mishaps to Royal Air Force 'planes in the past three days. Two Avro machines at the Sealand training school at Chester came into collision in mid-air to-day. Both pilots were killed. Two "Bulldogs" crashed at Suffolk, one pilot being killed. Two other pilots were killed in accidents on Thursday. AIRMEN ENTERTAINED. EPIC PLIGHT HONOURED. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, May 19. Squadron-Leader Gayford and FliglitLieutenant Nicholetts were entertained by the Royal Aeronautical Society, the Royal Aero Club, the Society of British Aircraft Constructors and the Air League of the British Empire in honour of their world's record long range flight from Crauwell to Walfis Bay, South Africa.
