STILL NEGOTIATING.
Australia and New Zealand Trade Treaties. BATTLE OF EMBARGOES. (Received 10.30 a.m.) • CANBERRA, this day. Replying to questions by Mr. J. A. Beasley (Langite), Mr. J. G. Latham, Attorney-General, stated in the House of Representatives that negotiations by cable with the New Zealand Government were still proceeding in regard to the New Zealand embargo on Australian fruit and the Australian embargo on New Zealand potatoes, and a decision was not likely to be reached before the House went into recess.
