OFFICE GUTTED.

SOUTHERN FOUNDRY FIRE r (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, day. Damage estimated at £500 was caused by a fire in Waddell and Company's foundry, in St. Asaph Street, this morning. The officc was gutted, but the machinery was undamaged, except for the electrical installation. An unusual feature is that the fire is believed to have burned for two hours without being seen, despite the fact that two men were on night duty.
