'PLANE DAMAGED.
MISHAP AT MANGERE. •9 . PILOT AND PASSENGER UNHURT. RETURNING PBOM PAGEANT. A Moth 'plane belonging to the Auckland Aero Club "stalled" wlien about to land at the Mangere Aerodrome at 12.30 p.m. to-day. The wings and propeller of the machine were extensively damaged, but the pilot, Mr. V. Salek, and a passenger, although shaken, were not injured. As soon as the engine stalled the 'plane reared up on its nose and fell on its back. The damage is fairly extensive, and repairs are expected to take two or three weeks. . Mr. Salek wafs returning . from Te" Aroha, where he took part in the aii pageant yesterday.
