CRUELTY TO DOGS.

I fully agree with "Pity" re the case of gross cruelty to a dog in. Chris-tchureh. ' J' the woman to whom it belonged was in he f right mind, she deserved to be chained herself for ono week. Neighbours will notice cases of cruelty, but are mostly too to report them. To save themselves any possible unpleasantness, they will ignore the distress of a poor decent creature. A dog is man's faithful friend. Man, surely, is dog's worst enemy. HELP THE HELPLESS.
