HIGH PRESSURES.
SOU'-WEST WEATHER MKEXY. (By Telegraph.—rress Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. Pressure is still high to the northeast of New Zealand, while the last portion of an extensive westerly depression is crossing the South Island. An intense anti-cyclone is .again developing over Australia, so that another spell of south-westerly weather is probable. The forecast ie for moderate to strong northerly winds, backing to south-west, within 24 hours, with the weather variable, with' scattered rain at times, the temperatures becoming cooler and seas rather rough on the west coast, but moderate on the east.
