CLOUDY TO OVERCAST.
FORECAST: RAIN PROBABLE. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. An anticyclone has passed the northern extremity of the Dominion, while a vigorous westerly depression, consisting of several separate waves, is advancing across the South Tasman Sea. The forecast is for moderate to fresh westerly winds, veering northerly and increasing; weather cloudy to overcast, and some rain probable; temperatures mild; seas rough on the west coast and moderate on the east.
