TAKAPUNA FATALITY
POLICE SEIZE MOTOR CAR.
INQUIRIES BEING MADE.
As the outcome ot tlie fatality in Hurstmere Road, Takapuna, last Sunday night, when a youth named David Ellis, aged 17, was found dying oil the roadside, the police yesterday afternoon seized a light motor car, and will hold it until further inquiries are made.
Since the fatality Detective-Sergeant O'Sullivan and Detective Davis have been making exhaustive inquiries at Takapuna and that neighbourhood, and as the result of information which he obtained at Castor Bay on Tuesday, Detective-Sergeant O'Sullivan- left the city at 4 o'clock yesterday morning for the King Country, where he interviewed a man whom the police suspect is the owner of a light car which they allege was in the vicinity of tho fatality on Sunday night.
