Maltreatment by Farmers of lowa.
CHOKED TO INSENSIBILITY
NEW YORK, April 2S.
A message front Lemars, lowa, states that a crowd of 100 farmers dragged District Judge Bradley from his Court, slapped him, carried him blindfolded in a motor lorry to a crossroads a mile away, tied a rope round his and choked him into partial unconsciousness.
The farmers then smeared the judge's face- with grease and stole liis trousers.
The abduction occurred after the judge had refused to swear he would sign no more farm mortgage foreclosures.
