JESSOP ON WARPATH.

"DANGER TO LIMB AND LIFE."

(Received 12 noon.) LONDON, April 28. "Better lose tho match than lose an opponents' respect," writes Gilbert Jessop, tho famous Gloucestershire hitter, who appeared for England in Tests from 1901-2 in Australia, to 1909 in the Old Country, in an article in the "Scotsman," condemning bodyline bowling. He urges an early decision against "a most objectionable method of attack, which is unnecessarily dangerous to limb and life. Intimidation is opposed to the game's spirit and tradition."
