Your leading article protesting against the harsh treatment Germany is subjecting German Jews to calls for acclamation. New Zealand has now the opportunity to show even Germany a lesson. Germany will not permit its Jewish nationals to take their cash out of the country, but should be quits willing to allow New Zealand to take them as assisted immigrants. Why should not New Zealand invite the unfortunate German Jews to come to this country ? Such an invitation, I am sure, would arouse the attention of the whole world and prove that New Zealand is sincere in her condemnation of the sectarian strife now rampant throughout Germany.
