OIL STORE CONDITIONS.
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Friday. A full agreement was reached in Conciliation Council proceedings yesterday between the oil companies and storemen and packers. The new Dominion award is operative from May 13. Rat.es of pay were fixed as follow:— Storemen, £3 15/ and £3 17/ 6d; head storeman, £4 2/ Gd; casual rates, 1/ 9-Jd an hour; youths, from 15/ at 17 years, to £3 10/ at 21 and over. Hours of work arc to be 4S a week, with an annual holiday of one week on halfpay. Overtime is to ,bo charged at time and a-half. Rationing is to be permitted by' mutual arrangement, 48 hours' notice of rationing tobe given. .
