TARANAKI DISAPPROVES.

HAWERA, this day.
Strong disapproval af the Auckland U.S.A. suggestion to the Dominion conference that the association function as a political body, with the object _ of block voting at elections, was voiced at the annual meeting of the South Taranaki R.S.A. last evening. It was pointed out that the entry ol the association into politics would directly contravene the principles of the constitution. . ■ The meeting decided unanimously _to instruct its delegate at the Dominion conference to oppose any suggestion for forming the association into a political body.
