OPPOSITION TO PROPOSAL.
'EXTREME SECTION IN AUCKLAND.'
(By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.)
DUNEDIN, this day.
"So far as the Dunedin branch is concerned, we will never be other than a non-political body," declare dthe president of the Dunedin R.S.A., m commenting on the Auckland resolution. The assocaition here had always been non-political, and it would remain absolutely so. It catered for all shades of politics in its membership and took no particular political view. Dunedin entirely disagreed with Auckland. More personally, his view was that it was an extreme section of the Auckland association which was pushing its way at present. The question of rank had never been raised in Dunedin, and discord amonfc committee and members was unknown.
