GIRL KILLED.
CRUSHED UPER CAR.
VIOLENT CORNER COLLISION.

GREYMOUTH, this day.
A four-year-old child, Shirley Warnes, was fatally injured in a motor collision at Greymouth at mid-day to-day. :lne girl was a daughter of Mr. and. Mrs. Ashley Warnes, and was sitting in the back seat of a car driven by Mr. Harold Prescott when, at the junction of Buccleugh and Shakespeare Streets, it collided with a car driven by Mr. Thomas Craig, of Matai. Mr. Prescott's car somersaulted, and the child was thrown out of a window. The ear came to rest on its side, lying on the child, who died on the way to hospital. Mr. Prescott and Miss Marvel Warnes, who were also in the car, were uninjured.
