MELBOURNE, this day.
A spirited protest against the lifting of the embargo on New Zealand potatoes on account of "corky scab" was lodged with the State Minister of Agriculture, Mr. Allan, by a deputation representing every potato growing area in Victoria. Mr. Allan promised to submit the representations to Mb Government.
