Stahlhelm Leader Dismissed

By His Chief.

NO SPLIT WITH NAZIS NOW.

(Received 1.30 p.m.)

BERLIN, April 20,

Herr Franz Seldte, Minister of Labour in tho Hitlerite Cabinet, has dismissed Colonel Duesterberg, second-in-command of the Stahlhelm organisation, on the ground of his Jewish extraction, Socialistic sympathies and opposition to the Nazi-Stahlhelm alliance.

It is believed that the dismissal removes the danger of a split between these ruling bodies.

HerrGustav Boess, ex-Lord Mayor of Berlin, has been arrested on a charge of misusing public funds for private
