MAORI BISHOP.

VISIT TO AUCKLAND

GATHERING AT MANGERE,

Bishop F. A. Bennett, Bishop of Aotearoa, will visit Auckland on Saturday," and be welcomed at Mangere on Sunday. There is expected to be a large gathering of the Auckland Maoris.. On Sunday the bishop v will hold a communion service. This will be followed by a confirmation service, when 31 candidates will be presented. A combined service will bo held in the evening. The Rev. W. N. Panapa, of Mangere, will assist with the services.

On Monday the , bishop will visit Waiuku, at the invitation, of Princess Te Puea.

On Tuesday Bishop Fenn*tt will leave for the North.
