BRAZEN SOLD FOR 4100GS.

■SYDNEY, April-26.

At a dispersal sale of bloodstock at the Biraganbil stud, Gulgong, to-day, the imported horse, Brazen, sire of the New Zealander Bronze Eagle, was sold for 4100 guineas to Messrs. Thompson, Basche and A. W. Thompson, of the Widden stud, Bylong. Captain Blood, an imported horse, fetched 360 guineas. The brood mare, Vartamozzle, dam of Kuvera and Shakuni, the latter having been sired by Brazen, fetched 160 guineas.
