MILLIONS OF TREES.
DUNEDIN PLANTATIONS. (By Te'egraph.—Special lo "Star.") DUNEDIN, this day; In an election address, the Mayor, Mr. R.S. Black, mentioned that Dunedin City owned no fewer than 10,000,000 trees, all planted under the-, forestry scheme. This mass of what, in years to come, would be valuable timber, was the largest owned by any city corporation in the British Empire. The next largest was that of the City of Glasgow.
