ALLOCATIONS TO AUCKLAND.

TRUST BOARD'S ACTION.

Mr. A. Harris, M.P., lias informed the Soldiers' Mothers' League .that on his recent visit to Wellington he obtained a statement of this year's allocations made by the Canteen Trust Board to the Auckland Returned Soldiers' Association. The statement shows the following allocations: January, £243; February, £262; March, £261. "Only the January payment has been made," states Mr. Harris. "Those for February ana March are being withheld by the Wellington executive pending an investigation into prior disbursements made by the Auckland Returned Soldiers' Association. "Mr. Harrison, general secretary, from Wellington, has been in Auckland for the past week making a personal investigation. In the meantime both the February arid March' payments are not being sent forward."
