DANCE BAND CAPSIZED.

WHANGAREI, Thursday,
While proceeding to Kawakawa last evening in a car, driven by Mr. H. Bayliss, of Onerahi, the journey of the Bon Ton dance band, comprising Mrs. Bayliss and Messrs. R. Fisher, W. Calder, jun,, and M. Fox, canje. to > an abruptending. The vehicle was going round a bend npproaching McLeod's Flat, on the Hikurangi Road, when the rear wheels skidded and it overturned. All of the occupants escaped injury, but the ear and musical instruments were extensively;.damaged.
