TOURNAMENT DANCE.
The Auckland University College Hall was filled •with dancers on Saturday evening, when the presentation of badges to the students representing the Auckland University College at the forthcoming Easter interhouse tournament, were presented. Mr. M. G. Sullivan, president of the Students' Association, performed the ceremony, assisted by Miss Dorothea Mulgan, vice-president. Excellent dance music was supplied by the students' orchestra. Among those present were: Mrs. J. Bartrum, in black flat crepe; Mrs. W. Anderson, flowered ninon; Miss Dorothea Mulgan, black souple satin; Miss Betty Warren, apricot embroidered satin; Miss Kathleen Bull, apple green organoid and frills of lace; Miss M. Hacket, water lily green georgette; Miss Jean Gillies, ciel blue glace silk; Miss Mnrgot Trafford, figured green georgette; Miss Jean Bull, blush pink georgette; Miss Judy Aiekin, Nile green satin; Miss Jean Thompson, Lido blue satin; Miss Joyce Woollers, pale green organdie; Miss Dorothy Stephenson, ivory organdie; Miss Betty Edwards, flowered niuon; Miss Rene Cliff, moonlight blue organdie; Miss Peggy McLean, flowered organdie; Miss N* Jones, green floral organdie; Miss Mavis Stokes, Burgimdy georgette; Miss Helen Donald, black georgette; Miss R. Taylor, sea blue satin; Miss Kathleen Bates, floral satin beautc; Miss Jean Chambers, leaf green organdie; Miss Edna Steele, rosecoloured ninon; Miss P. Morris, carnation cherry georgette; Miss M. Deighton, pastel pink organdie; Miss Kathleen Scanncll, pink flowered organdie; Miss Margaret Shaw, green chiffon; Miss R. Perez, flowered chiffon; and Miss Valerie Tanner, pink embroidery Anglaise.
