PETER PAN.

1 An atmosphere of extreme gaiety pervaded the Peter Pan Cabaret on Saturday night. The verve with which the dancing proceeded was due not solely to the occasion, but also to the delightful music of Mr. Merv. Bree and his orchestra. Miss. Edna Lincoln, as the hostess of a large party, celebrated her 21st birthday. Bowls of dahlias tastefully arranged on all cubicles served to enhance the colourful surroundings. Amongst those present were: Mrs. A. E. Moore, wearing parchment souple satin; Mrs. Waters, almond green satin; Mrs. Lyall Tingling, white Milanese and diamante trimming; Mrs. Stewart, almond green satin and georgette; Mrs. C. Thompson, lemon ring velvet; Mrs. Wingrove, cherry crushed velvet; Mrs. J. G. Cooper, wine red georgette; Mrs. B. Griffiths, green and white floral chiffon; Mrs. L. W. Swan, black lace; Mrs. R. Howard, gold velvet; Mrs. A. Neville, ecru lace and georgette; Mrs. Lan McEwen, black crepe do soie; Miss Laura Mappin, new blue flat crepe; Miss Isobel Smallbone, cameo pink satin with tulle cape; Miss Audrey Walton, pastel shaded floral georgette; Miss Pat Budde, white organdie with touches of green lace; Miss Ina Weston, pink and blue frilled ninon; Miss K. Geddis (Napier), coral pink crinkled crepe; Miss Val. McOalliun, snake's eye green crinkled crepe with shoulder cape; Miss L.
