Mr. G. O. Sutton, secretary of the New Zealand Golf Association, received advice from Sydney by the lust mail that Mr. W. A. Windeyer has now placed the control of the Kirk-Windeyer Cup matches in Australia with the golf councils of the various States. The New South Wales Council considers that this will greatly increase the prospect of keen competition in the future, and it is quite likely that more than one State will send a team over next year.
